That out of shampoo and conditioner… Shampoo is actually the one that does most of the damage to our hair, next to over processing it through chemicals or using hot tools for styling such as a curling or flat iron.  Why is that, you might ask?  Well our natural pH for our hair is in the range of 4.5 to 5.5. So any shampoo that has a pH higher than 5.5 is swelling the hair. Those shampoos that have a pH of 6.5 to 9 is really shortening your at-home color service, driving your natural moisture out and making your hair feel very rough.
